“Being a physician-scientist keeps me grounded in the importance of listening to patients and understanding what truly matters to them. After years of incremental progress in IPF, there remains a significant need for treatments that more meaningfully slow the course of the disease. What makes deupirfenidone especially compelling to me is its potential to help stabilize lung function while remaining practical and manageable for patients in everyday clinical use.”
